On recreation...

Losing your favorite server at your favorite restaurant is like losing a family member. I spent a lot of time and money training him to be an awesome server for me when I come in and now he is gone. All I can do is remember how he would bring our drinks (without asking) and then ask if we wanted the usual...those were the days!

On Careers

The problem with me being a lawyer is that I have never been good at poker.

On Politics

Yahoo had an interesting article...
You think Obama is not full of fluff? You think he has you in his mind? You think he is telling the truth and blowing hot air? Read this...and fact check your president.

On Politics

Chip Reid asked a tough question about Obama's controversial budget. Reid asked if the budget, which will increase the debt to "$7 trillion over the next 10 years," is a case of passing problems onto the next generation. Obama responded that investments need to be made to "meet our growth targets that put us on a pathway to growth." He then pointed out that the critics of his budget have yet to bring forth an alternative.

Who isn't offering an alternative? Surly he can't be talking about the Republican party and the right wing media who have been screaming free market since January of last year. This guy is a sham. By the way, he has been criticized for clinging to a teleprompter like a binkie from the begining. You didn't see any this time...right? Right...the HUGE teleprompter was in the back of the room. I can't wait for someone to fix this mess and by fix, I mean, replace the president.

On politics

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner called on Congress Tuesday to grant him new powers to regulate huge financial companies like insurance giant AIG, whose failure would pose a grave danger to the U.S. financial system and the broader economy.

Is this sounding like a Marvel Comic Strip to anyone else?!?
He should ask Congress to grant him the power to fly and shoot lightening bolts from his fingertips.
Too much power...the government has too much power.

On Parenting

I get some sort of validation when I leave for work and my son cries...even though it hurts me. At least I know he loves me.
